Lookout Notice for Catholic Priest Who Allegedly Raped Teenager in Kerala

Ernakulam:  The police in Kerala have issued a look out notice on a catholic priest who is wanted for allegedly raping a 14-year-old earlier this year.

The priest is on the run since the High Court rejected his request for bail on May 5.

The police say he raped the teenager in a church complex in Ernakulam nearly five times between January and March. The girl had reportedly worked closely with the priest for over a year.

The police had confiscated the priest’s passport earlier, when the court stopped them from arresting him till May 5.
