Union Minister Smriti Irani Addresses a Rally in Amethi Marking 1 Year of the Narendra Modi Government: Highlights

Amethi, Uttar Pradesh:  Union Human Resource Development minister Smriti Irani addressed a rally today in Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi. Her rally was part of the 200 rally’s planned by the BJP to mark one year of the Narendra Modi government.

Here are the highlights from her speech:

• Promises that were not fulfilled in 10 years, we fulfilled them in 10 days. They are worried because I have taken Amethi to be my family.


• Had never thought  that residents of Raebareli and Amethi will have to struggle for generations for a railway line.


• What couldn’t be done in years, BJP Government has done in just 1 year and initiated the project of Amethi-Unchahar railway line.


• People in Amethi had questioned whether Narendra Modi, Smriti Irani will remember them? We have addressed their concerns.
