AirAsia Sale: Fly Abroad For Rs 2,999

AirAsia India’s ‘Big Sale’ is offering customers an opportunity to fly abroad for fares as low as Rs 2,999. Fares under the offer are all-inclusive.

The AirAsia offer is valid till June 28, 2015 and the travel period is between February 15, 2016 and August 31, 2016.

AirAsia is offering 3 million promotional seats under the offer. Under the special offer, AirAsia is offering Kochi to Kuala Lumpur tickets at Rs 2,999, flights from Kochi to Hong Kong, Penang and Singapore are all priced at Rs 4,019 each, while Kochi to Melbourne, Perth and Sydney fares stand at Rs 5,739.

AirAsia is also offering special fares to a number of other international destinations from various Indian cities.

The AirAsia sale also covers domestic routes and all-inclusive fares start at Rs 799. Bengaluru to Kochi tickets are priced at Rs 799 while Bengaluru to Pune, Bengaluru to Goa, and Bengaluru to Visakhapatnam are all priced at Rs 999.

This offer is the latest in a slew of offers that airlines have been offering customers, in a bid to fight for market share in a very competitive market.

Airlines try to attract customers with special schemes for travel during the January-March and July-September quarters – traditionally considered periods of low travel demand.

Rival budget carrier SpiceJet last week had also launched a sale, putting on block 50,000 seats with all-inclusive fares starting at Rs 3,099 for flying to international destinations.
