Aadesh Shrivastava Cremated; Big B, Anil Kapoor Bid Farewell

Music composer Aadesh Shrivastava was cremated at Mumbai’s Oshiwara Crematorium this afternoon. The composer, who scored music for over a 100 Bollywood films, died on September 5 after a long, hard battle with cancer. He was 51.

Many from Bollywood reached the cremation ground to say the final goodbye.

Amitabh Bachchan, who worked with the singer-composer in films such as Baghban and Major Saab, was photographed consoling his actress-wife Vijeta Pandit.



 

Actors Anil Kapoor, Shekhar Suman and filmmaker Sudhir Mishra also mourned his death. Singer Sonu Nigam accompanied the family to the crematorium.



 

Playback singer Udit Narayan, who worked with Mr Shrivastava in films such as Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Uljhan was spotted paying his last respects to his colleague.



 



Mr Shrivastava’s brother-in-laws, music-composers Jatin-Lalit, with whom he successfully collaborated in films such as Chalte Chalte, were also photographed at the cremation ground.

Mr Shrivastava is known for his work in films like Chalte Chalte, Baabul, Baghban, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Rajneeti.
