Box Office Gives Warm Welcome to the Bhais on Opening Day

Anees Bazmee’s laugh riot Welcome Back, starring Anil Kapoor, John Abraham and Shruti Haasan, has made Rs 14 crores on its opening day.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the collections on Twitter:

The movie is a sequel to the 2007 box office hit Welcome, which starred Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Akshay Kumar. Anil Kapoor reprises his role as Majnu bhai while Nana Patekar, once again, leads the hierarchy of gangsters in the family. John Abraham who joins their fraternity as Ajju bhai. The film also marks the comeback of actor Shiney Ahuja, currently out on bail in an alleged rape case. Actors Naseeruddin Shah, Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia also feature in key roles.
